Our sustainability vision
We are a UK-based collaborative sustainability consultancy with an innovative approach to unleashing the ‘power of people’ to create lasting, sustainable change.

Although sustainability can be complex and specialist, it does not have to be hard. We believe that we need to get to a point where organisational sustainability is so embedded it becomes common place with low barriers to entry – when any organisation can embrace sustainability and realise opportunities and impacts, that is when change can become global.
With over 40 years of experience between us in sustainability, innovation, change management, employee engagement & wellbeing, and organisational behaviour, we each bring our unique specialism to the mix. We have both in-house and consultancy experience, and national and international experience across a wide range of organisations, sectors, industries and organisation size.
As well as our core team, we assess each client’s unique needs and assemble the right team for the project. An assigned project manager ensures smooth delivery and is your main point of contact.
Meet the Team
Nadine Exter
MBA, MICRS
Founder
With over 15 years of experience of sustainability in consultancy and in-house, Nadine has extensive experience running both large scale and bespoke change programmes across strategy, community, zero waste, governance and ethics, employee engagement, people & wellbeing, and embedding sustainability into the 6 Ps.
She founded Work with Purpose in 2018, after seeing how client’s needs were shifting and needed new types of support and innovations from consultancies.
Darren Chadwick
Associate
Darren is the Managing Partner at Brite Green and a tutor in sustainability at the University of Oxford.
He has substantial experience in low carbon and environmental sustainability consultancy, as well as reporting and strategy development and implementation.
Jo Higgs
Associate
Jo is Managing Director of 'We are Fletch', a consultancy guiding businesses through the complex world of employee experience.

She has a focus on social responsibility, including diversity, inclusion, and social mobility. She believes understanding how your employees feel about the way you manage your people responsibilities in your business, in your supply chain and in your local community will allow you to build meaningful outcomes.
